Who needs elbow grease? With the Power Cyclonic vacuum from Russell Hobbs, cleaning floors is effortless. This clever little vacuum might be bagless inside but it has bags of power when it comes to sucking up all those bits of fluff, dust and lint that litter your floor space.:

Its compact size makes it easy to store so it’s perfect if storage is at a premium in your house or apartment. It’s lightweight and has a handle on the top so you can pick it up and take it from room to room, and its extra long cable and hose make it an ideal appliance for tackling the stairs or reaching upward to dust cornices.:

Let’s get started!:

To get going you’ll need to fit the hose; just turn the hose end, to align the lock with the inlet in the cleaner and push it in. It’ll click as it locks into position. It has a decent length of cable and this is colour coded so you can see how much is left. The yellow band round the cable tells you there’s a metre left. The red band tells you “Stop pulling, you’ve run out of cable!”:

It’s got every tool for every job:

Big brush – attach this to the tube when you want to vacuum larger floor spaces: Press the rear of the pedal to extend the bristles for floors with little or no pile. Press the front to retract the bristles for rugs, carpets, and anything with pile.:

Crevice tool - its name gives its job away! This tool tackles the bits of fluff, hair and crumbs down the sides of upholstery, and in those awkward spaces bigger brushes can’t reach.:

Small brush - use this attachment to remove dust from blinds and curtains, and to clean awkward corners.:

Sofa brush – This removes pet hair, lint, and dust from upholstery, and other small, flat areas – don’t use it on hanging curtains, as it doesn’t have the bristles necessary to let air flow freely, use the small brush instead.:

The vacuum with added suction power:

The Power Cyclonic has a pretty powerful suction function built in. There are two ways to control the suction. You can use the simple control on the top of the cleaner – ‘max’ to increase, or ‘min’ to reduce suction. Or, you can use the suction control on the nozzle – move it towards the nozzle for maximum suction, away from the nozzle to reduce suction.
